FEED YOUR mEgo: Featured Feeds & Your Personal RSS Feeds

Enter the indicated info below to pull in automatically updating content from these services. Click the button for details. The body icons to the left of each field correspond to the feed's location on your mEgo. Don't forget to save your changes!

The default videos that appear on your mEgo are updated automatically from the YouTube site. If you have a YouTube account with your videos and/or favorites you can display them in your mEgo by entering your YouTube username in the Username field. Alternately you may display videos associated with a search keyword by entering that keyword in the Search field.

View and share Flickr photos on your mEgo! Display your Flickr photos by entering in your Flickr screen name. NOTE: Your Screen name on Flickr may be different than your Flickr username. mEgo needs your screen name to display your photos. Also, make sure your Flickr photos are set to public.

If you have tagged photos you may also enter tags in the tag field. If you don't have Flickr screen name you may also search Flickr photos by entering tags in the tag field. For instance, enter the tag 'dogs' and your mEgo will display all the Flickr photos tagged with that word.

You can view Photobucket feeds in your mEgo two ways.
1. Select the RSS Feed radio button and enter an RSS feed URL. RSS feed URL's can be found at the bottom of your "my album" page on Photobucket.
or
2. Select the Search radio button and view pictures via keywords. All photos tagged with that keyword will be displayed in your mEgo. You can search multiple keywords by putting a space between each word.

 

On Amazon.com, you can create a Wish List to keep track of items you want. To display your Amazon Wish List in your mEgo, simply enter the email address you use to log in to Amazon. Whenever you update your list on Amazon, your Wish List feed on mEgo will update, too.

View and share your latest Twitter Tweets on your mEgo! Enter your Twitter username in the username field to activate.

 

View and share your Last.fm playlists on your mEgo! Enter your Last.fm username in the username field to share your playlists

 

If you have a Netflix account, you can display your queue, rental activities and recommendations in your mEgo.
To find your Netflix custom feed info:
1. If you are not already signed in to Netflix, go to Netflix and sign in.
2. Click on the RSS link at the bottom of any Netflix page.
3. In the Personalized Feeds list, copy any of the long strings following the equal (=) sign, starting with and including the letter P. Something like the bolded text below:

4. Paste the copied string into the mEgo field.

What is an RSS link? RSS is defined as Really Simple Syndication. An RSS feed is used by web publishers to publish frequently updated content such as news headlines, blog entries and podcasts. In order to view these feeds you need an RSS reader. Your mEgo is equipped with an RSS reader.
You can find RSS feeds on many of your favorite sites. A RSS feed is usually identified with this icon. Usually you can click on that icon and it will take you to the RSS feed for that page. Simply copy the URL and paste it into the RSS Link field in your mEgo. Click the save button to see the results.
